
Penne Rigate Miscela Esplosive Recipe from Tutto Calabria

We love a good pasta recipe, even more so when we get to incorporate some of our favorite Calabrian Chili Peppers! If you enjoy a nice kick of heat in your pasta, this recipe is for you.
Calabrian Chili Peppers are very versatile and can be used in any dish, even sweets, to add an extra pop of heat without sacrificing the flavors of your recipes.
In this easy to make recipe we use Miscela Esplosive Blend by Tutto Calabria to make a flavorful sauce you'll want to add to all your favorite pasta dishes!
Let's get to it!
Ingredients:
- - 12oz of L'Oro Del Sud Penne Rigate Pasta
- - 3.5oz of cherry tomatoes
- - 3tbsp of Tutto Calabria Miscela Esplosiva Blend (Adjust for how spicy you would like your dish to be)
- - 1 clove of garlic
- - 1tbsp Basso Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- - Salt and pepper to taste
- - 4 fresh basil leaves
Instructions:
- - Heat your pan with a drizzle of Basso Extra Virgin Olive Oil and add your garlic to the pan. Heat your garlic until it has a golden color.
- - Cut your cherry tomatoes into cubes and add to your pan with the cooked garlic.
- - Season with salt and pepper (to taste).
- - Cover the pan and cook over low-medium heat for about 20-25 minutes.
- - Add your Tutto Calabria Miscela Esplosiva Blend (You can always add more or less depending on how spicy you want your dish to be!)
- - Let your sauce rest without the lid.
- - Cook your L'Oro Del Sud Penne Rigate Pasta (per instructions on package) in salted water until al dente.
- - Drain and pour into the pan with the Explosive blend and the cherry tomatoes.
- - Cook everything for a minute over high heat.
- - Mix well and serve with a fresh basil leaf for each dish. Top with cheese if desired.
