SBA reveals $28.6B grant program for restaurants hit hard by the pandemic.
The recent Covid relief law, titled the Restaurant Revitalization Fund (RRF) authorizes a $28.6 billion grant program for hard-hit foodservice businesses. Eligible businesses can apply for grant money that does not need to be repaid which can be vital for businesses like restaurants.
This is a unique industry-specific grant program that was requested and lobbied for by industry leaders. Only foodservice businesses--including bars, restaurants, and caterers--that have fewer than 20 locations will be eligible. Those that have received PPP loans already are also free to apply.
